I've been obsessed with the musical Hamilton since before the soundtrack even came out. When the soundtrack did come out, I listened to it non-stop. I dreamed and dreamed of seeing the show, but never thought it would become reality. On January 20 at 2 pm, I got to see one of my favorite musicals, Hamilton.

Hamilton was exactly what I expected it to be. The show I've been imaging in my head was even more perfect on stage in front of me. It was an absolutely phenomenal show and I can't believe I finally got to see it. Our seats were in the front section of the balcony, they were pretty good for the price we paid. I still would have been overjoyed, even if I was in the very last row. My boyfriend is not the musical theatre obsessed person that I am, but he really enjoyed it and thought it was amazing. I managed not to cry, only tearing up during a few parts of the second act. I can barely describe how incredible I thought Hamilton was and how glad I am I got to see it.If you haven't heard of Hamilton, go look it up now and listen to some of the songs. It is somehow both a typical musical and a completely new kind of music at the same time. I'm a little sad after seeing it because I most likely won't see this show ever again or at least not for a very long time.
